The Kitchen Garden Planner is a really neat online tool from Gardener's Supply Co. to plan your 3' x 6' kitchen garden. You can create your own layout by clicking on the vegetables you plan to grow and dragging them to the location in your garden, or you can use one of their ready-made plans. There are 6 to choose from: All American, Cook's Choice, High Yield, Plant it & Forget it, Salad Bar, Salsa & Tomato Sauce. This planner is loaded with lots of valuable information, especially for those new to vegetable gardening.

In addition to the planner there is step-by-step planting & care instructions, vegetable encyclopedia, supplies & accessories you'll need. I helped plant a raised vegetable garden at my daughter's school this spring and the children have had great success with everything. I had never planted a raised bed before and am really quite impressed with the results.
